Fall isnt over is it??

I'm not ready for winter!- but the weather is finally turning brisk, huh!?  So I've decided to hang onto it by changing my blog banner with a nice fall photo.  Infact, I'm going to be changing up my blog banner frequently from now on- so be on the lookout - maybe your little one will be up there!!  I cant believe i left that old one up there for so long!
This little sunshine will warm you up though - isnt she a sweety?


Oh! and thanks to everyone who came out for the 1st day of the Holiday mini sessions on Saturday! What a fantastic day we had.  Weather was perfect, kids were wonderful!  Looking forward to the next session date.

Some Commercial stuff... a sneak peek

I've been real excited to be getting more commercial work lately.  This is just one of the projects I have been doing.  Its for BlaBlaKids.com  GORGEOUS sweaters, hats, and the DOLLS - omg, if you little one doesn't have a blabla doll, it truly is a MUST. 
We had a WARM fall shooting day - and the kids were so so great.  Just a sneak peek for now- I'll share alot more in a bit.

PURE happiness..

Is there anything that truly makes you this happy???? wow.. to be 3. THIS photo makes ME happy! I was feel pretty under the weather over the weekend. Started Saturday...and I knew I had promised my son to take him to his grams on Sunday to rake leaves under the big tree. By Saturday night, I was pretty darn sick and Sunday, could barely get out of bed. He kept asking when we were going to run in the leaves? ugh, how could I say no.  So we went.  WELL - You know the saying "laughter is the best medicine?" so is happiness, and joy.  An hour of watching him and his cousin playing and jumping and running in the leaves - i felt 1000x better.
Maybe we should all just be 3 again and go play in the leaves once in a while??? It would probably do us all a world of good.

Look how he's grown!!

In Love....

With this little girl.  Yeah, ok.. so you found me out.. I fall in love with all my little clients.  Its true! I dont know if its the red hair? or what.. but she won me over again. I loved her the first time i photographed her (she was just learning to sit up then) and I love her all over again.

Cousins

These 2 sweeties are cousins.. who are pretty much the same age.  How cool they get to grow up together?  They were both so adorable!

Oh! and Mr. Pumpkin (from the pumpkin patch below) got a beautiful face over the weekend, compliments of my CT :) - yes, that is a feather and a flower in his "hair"...

Fall means...

pumpkin patch and costumes.. I've been a little slack in the blogging.  I'll catch up. We did the annual trip to the pumpkin patch to search for the best one... up and down the rows, looking for just that right one.... It was easier last year.  I could trick him into believing the smaller ones (i.e. lighter to carry) were the best ones.. um.not this year... ya, had to go for the biggest one out there.  the $7 one. haha.

And this is actually part of MY costume this year....hmmm. wonder who I am.  Drew Carey? no.  Miz Booshay guessed Charles Nelson Reiley - No.....(although he does make a good one)....hmmmm...

The most greatest bestest voicemail

ok, well, at least one of them... She got her gallery and was in tears.  Its not that I "like" to make people cry - i really dont...but I really am touched when I've succeeded in meeting the expectation of a client.  And I'm touched when they let me know. thank you.

Little Personalities!

I love the 1-2 age.  The little ones have such a personality developing and they look at me with such curiosity (still) and have the cutest expressions.  I get asked the question alot what is the best age to photograph, and to be honest - I dont have a favorite.  (how is that for a cop -out answer!) Its true though, really. I love them all for so many different reasons.
