Some little boy fans...

But as we wind down the Steeler season this year after a great season again with our hometown PITTSBURGH STEELERS! I thought I'd post about the biggest Steeler fan I've had the pleasure of photographing ~

This is #73 KENDALL SIMMONS family... and they are expecting another one very soon! They are the most gorgeous family .....

So - lets CHEER on those PITTSBURGH STEELERS this Sunday!  and Lets all Wish the SIMMONS family the BEST OF LUCK with their new addition!!

Vacation!

Just a little announcement:  boring business stuff.  Starting December 15 through January 5  Kathy Wolfe Photography is official ON VACATION.  ok, well, is anyone really on vacation??   I'm going to be taking time to get ready for CHRISTMAS - do shopping that I havent done, put up a tree that hasnt been put up yet, decorate, maybe bake a cookie or two... (ok, well, maybe buy those pillsbury kind).

Oh, and in my spare time, I'm going to getting a new website! Its going to be awesome!!  I'm getting a wonderful new checkout/online ordering system... and so much more!!  so..ya, I'll be working on that too!!  and maybe I'll finally look at those vacation pictures I took this summer and never got around to printing!!

hmm..maybe I need to take some more time?? haha!

I wonder if babies know Santa is coming too? There must be more babies born in the month of December than any other month... hahaha! all my maternity clients seemed to have their babies one right after another.

My little one turned 3 yesterday... where does the time go?? and my blog just wouldnt be my blog, if I didnt post a picture of him from his day :)

Baby on the bed

SInce alot of photographers read my blog as well, I thought this would be a good time to post a picture and talk about some dark days of winter we may be facing and what do about them?
When this family contacted me, mom was a bit concerned that her place wasnt going to be ideal for photos...not enough places, not enough light etc...but made some suggestions of nearby locations in case I got there and couldnt see anything.

What I did find though were great wall colors, fair lighting and white ceilings. hmm, why did I look at her ceiling? Cause in the bedroom that had a great red wall, also had white ceilings in which I could bounce a flash up to the ceiling.  The window was going to be behind me - great location, but a bit to far away...

Here are some results from this session.  All with bounced flash... and one heck of a cute little guy.

Christmas is in the air!

There is music on the radio, decorations on the houses, Christmas trees for sale and gorgeous little  TWIN girls running around in their holiday dresses!!
